Vitesse is a Dutch football team competing on a national level. In order to select only the best players and to develop better training schemes, Vitesse equips their players with sensors.
Xomnia built a QlikSense dashboard to provide insights in the training of Vitesse’s players. Key success factors have been indicated and additional analysis tools have been built to analyse the differences between each training and different players. We also analysed the differences between training sessions of the same player. Xomnia’s dashboard now helps trainers to grasp their intuition about players and discuss the performances based on facts. The dashboard enables Vitesse to perform a more grounded selection for forming a stronger team and reflect on which types of training result in the best performance.
